Japan planning, from someone who lives here
Guides are great. Sometimes you just want a local to look at your plan and say "that day doesn't work, do this instead." Two ways to get that — and every booking link I send you is one I'd use myself.
The Planning Call
One hour, your trip fixed.
- Before: a short questionnaire + send any itinerary you've started
- On the call (60 min): we fix your route, pick neighborhoods and road-trip stops, choose hotel areas and onsen picks based on how you actually travel
- After: a written recap with my recommendations and booking links — you book everything yourself
- Upgrade credit: the $99 counts toward the Done-For-You tier if you upgrade within 7 days
Done-For-You Itinerary
The whole trip, planned. Up to 14 days, flat.
- Kickoff: questionnaire + a short call to learn how you travel
- Full day-by-day plan: stays (2–3 options per stop), transport and routes, food and experiences with booking links
- Realistic pacing — especially for families and first-timers who overpack Tokyo
- One revision round included
- At the end: book it yourself through the links in your plan
When I take calls

Tuesday – Thursday · Evening
9:30pm – 11:30pm JST — that's morning same-day for most of the US.

Questions people ask
How does the planning call work?
One hour on video, Tue–Thu. You bring the trip you’re dreaming about; I bring the route, the neighborhoods, and what to skip. You leave with a plan you can book from.
What do I actually get with the full itinerary?
A day-by-day plan for up to 14 days: where to base yourself, what to do each day, where I’d eat, and links to book it all. One round of revisions included.
Do you book everything for me?
I plan it and give you the booking links — you keep control of your reservations. If you’d rather have it booked for you, ask on the call.
How far ahead should I reach out?
For itineraries, 4–6 weeks before your trip is the sweet spot. Calls can be sooner.
What if my trip is longer than 14 days?
The $399 covers up to 14 days. Longer trip? Start with a call and we’ll scope it.
Can we do this in Spanish?
Sí. Calls and itineraries are available in Spanish — just say so in the form. Se habla español.
What if I need changes?
Itineraries include one revision round. Life happens — small tweaks after that, just ask.
